Safe Haven Basketball

INCLUSIVE BASKETBALL FOR ALL ABILITIES

We warmly welcome the involvement of parents and carers, whether it is cheering from the sidelines, or making the effort involved in ensuring that your young person is able to attend our sessions. You can even join in and play if you like, and so can siblings.

Our club welcomes players with all sorts of learning disabilities and special educational needs; autism, ASD, Downs syndrome, Aspergers, ADHD, and many other ‘diagnoses’.  Please contact us if you are not sure, and we will be happy to discuss the needs of your young person in detail and confidence.

We understand that you are likely to be the person who knows your young person best, and we are keen to work with you to ensure that we can meet his/her needs. Please contact our manager if you have any questions about the suitability of our sessions for any individual.

We understand that many young people we work with will not yet be fully independent travellers, and we are interested in helping if we can. If there are obstacles such as transport, or caring for others, which prevent your young person from coming to our sessions, and you would like to see if we can help, please contact me:
